Career Story
I’m a board-certified internal medicine physician and hospitalist at Methodist Dallas, and I also own and run outpatient practices in Southlake focused on metabolic health, weight management, and hormone therapy. Practicing through the GLP-1 era showed me something I couldn’t unsee: the treatments changing my patients’ lives all started as clinical trials. I joined ECN because I’d rather help build that evidence than just prescribe the results of it.
Research Focus
My clinical home is internal medicine, so my research interests run the same direction: metabolic disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiometabolic health, along with the bread-and-butter internal medicine indications like hypertension, vaccines, and chronic pain that touch nearly every patient I see in the hospital and the clinic.

Patient Philosophy or Quote
Every effective medication I prescribe exists because a patient and a research team somewhere took a trial seriously. Being part of that process is how we pay it forward to the next patient.

Notable Research Contribution
Since 2019 I’ve held teaching appointments at UT Southwestern and TCU/UNTHSC, training internal medicine residents and medical students, and I’m proud of building physician-led metabolic and wellness practices that care for thousands of patients across DFW. Bringing that same population into clinical research is the next chapter I’m most excited about.
